China Mobile reduces GPRS charges substantially

Great news for mobile internet users in China as China Mobile had cut GPRS fees by as much as two-thirds in most domestic cities this month. Shanghai China Mobile users can now pay RMB 5 (US$0.73) per month for 30MB, rather than the RMB 5, 10 MB package available previously, while RMB 20 ($2.93) per month gets 150MB, three times more than before.

This is going to accelerate the mobile internet growth in China exponentially. Very soon China will have more people accessing internet from their mobile phone than PC.
